About Yellowstone River

This 692-mile long picturesque free flowing river runs through the states of Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota and is a popular attraction within Yellowstone National Park. Yellowstone River was explored by William Clark in 1806 on the famous Lewis and Clark Expedition and is a tributary of the Missouri River, which is North America's longest river.
