Tunnel View allows spectators to see park wonders such as Half Dome, El Capitan, Bridalveil Fall and Yosemite Valley. Improvements made to the viewpoint in 2008 were extending the handicap accessible viewing area, adding informational exhibits and improving traffic flow. Tunnel View is on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.
