The Old Town Square in Prague is just a five-minute walk from the city’s other main center, Wenceslas Square. Originally Prague’s central marketplace, the Old Town Square has been around since the 12th century. It contains the 1338 Old Town Hall Tower, which has an elevator and staircase to the top to offer views of the square. Crowds gather to see the Tower’s Astronomical Clock as well. The 14th century Gothic Tyn Church and 18th century Baroque St. Nicholas Church offer daytime visits and nighttime ambiance. Relax at one of the square’s cafes while enjoying the atmosphere.
