Constructed as a visitor's center when the Niagara Power Plant was built in 1961, Niagara Power Vista provides spectacular views of the Niagara Gorge and surrounding power plants at its location 350 feet above Niagara River. It also contains more than 50 exhibits, multimedia presentations, photos and maps about how the river creates electricity and the history of the vista. Niagara Power Vista is operated by the New York Power Authority and located in Lewiston, New York. More than six million people have visited it since it opened.
