The interesting Brutalist style building has received positive and negative feedback throughout the years since it was completed in 1968. Boston City Hall was designed by architects Kallmann McKinnell & Knowles with architects Campbell, Aldrich & Nulty and engineers Lemessurier Associates. It is part of the Downtown Boston's 90-acre Government Center and not to be confused with Boston's "Old City Hall" that is now office space.
