Antelope Canyon was shaped by rainwater erosion of Navajo Sandstone and is only accessible through a guided tour. Horseshoe Bend is the meander of the Colorado River, located near the town of Page, Arizona, named after its Horseshoe shape. It is located in the Glen Canyon Recreational Area, 5 miles downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. Many come to see the Horseshoe Bend and overlook 42,000 feet on the Bend via the steep cliff above the meander.
